Scott J-R Productions was formed in 1998 by Dr. John-Roger and Jsu Garcia. Dr. John-Roger is the founder of almost a dozen non-profit organizations, is a NY Times #1 bestselling author and an internationally recognized speaker and teacher. Dr. Jsu Garcia started his career as an actor (Che, The Lost City, Along Came Polly, We Were Soldiers) before moving also into writing, directing and producing.

 Scott J-R Productions' most recent project is the feature film The Wayshower starring Eric Roberts, Peter Stormare, Jsu Garcia, Howard Lazar, Sally Kirkland and Leigh Taylor-Young. Also co-directed and co-written by John-Roger and Jsu Garcia, The Wayshower is currently touring festivals and has screened only in preview private screenings in London, Paris, Los Angeles, Price, Moab and also most recently at the Sundance Film Festival.  Scott J-R Productions produced a number of short films (most notably Me and My Daddy which screened in both US film festivals and private screenings) before creating their first feature film Spiritual Warriors (2006) which screened in 25 countries in over 250 private screenings. DVD distribution of Spiritual Warriors is currently handled also by Jsu Garcia and Gilgamesh Productions, and in 2008 Spiritual Warriors was the #2 ranked 'spiritual film' on Amazon.com.

John-Roger is the author of over 55 books including four bestsellers and a NY Times #1 bestseller. His most recent books are The Rest of Your Life (2007), Timeless Wisdoms: Volume I (2008) and Timeless Wisdoms: Volume II (2008). As an internationally recognized public speaker and teacher, he has given more than 6000 seminars over the last forty years, most of which have been recorded either in audio or video format.

John-Roger also produces his own national cable TV show That Which Is, and has appeared on other television and radio programs including CNN's Larry King Live, The Roseanne Show, and Politically Incorect.

John-Roger has also founded (or co-founded) around a dozen non-profit organizations including the Movement of Spiritual Inner Awareness (MSIA), Peace Theological Seminary and College of Philosophy (PTS), the University of Santa Monica (USM), Insight Seminars, The Institute for Individual and World Peace (IIWP), and the Heartfet Foundation.

Dr. Jsu Garcia, Actor/Director

jsugarciaJsu Garcia began acting at a young age, and landed his first roles in 1982 on the TV show Fame, and in 1984 a supporting role opposite Johnny Depp in Nightmare on Elm Street in 1984. His most notable credits include  Along Came Polly opposite Ben Stiller and Jennifer Anniston, The Lost City with Andy Garcia, We Were Soldiers with Mel Gibson, Collateral Damage with Arnold Schwarzneger, and most recently Steven Soderberg's Che.

He began writing, directing and producing in 1998, taking what he learned from some of Hollywood's greatest actors and directors. Garcia took on his largest and most successful project to date with the film Spiritual Warriors. Garcia gathered his crew of ten and filmed on location in places such as Egypt, Jordan, and Syria, and finished filming in Los Angeles with a much larger crew.

Garcia has toured 25 countries with screenings of Spiritual Warriors, fueled by an overhelming ang growing fanbase and popularity of the film among the Body-Mind-Spirit communities. He also heads up and overseas all Sales and Distribution for the Spiritual Warriors DVD, through sister company also co-founded by Dr. John-Roger, Gilgamesh Productions LLC.
